A 29-year-old male presented with low back pain associated with fever. Radiological and laboratory evaluation revealed L3–L4 spondylodiscitis with inflammatory involvement of the adjacent vertebral endplates and intervertebral disc. The patient experienced persistent pain and functional limitation despite initial conservative management and medical therapy. Owing to ongoing symptoms and spinal involvement, he underwent appropriate surgical intervention with debridement and stabilization of the affected segment. Postoperatively, the patient demonstrated symptomatic improvement with reduction in pain, better functional mobility, and recovery with continued antimicrobial management

A 30-year-old female presented with persistent back pain associated with significant weight loss. Radiological evaluation revealed multilevel spondylodiscitis involving the dorsal spine with a large prevertebral abscess causing extensive inflammatory destruction and spinal involvement. Despite medical management, the patient continued to have severe pain and functional limitation. In view of the extensive disease involvement and abscess formation, she underwent surgical debridement and stabilization of the affected spinal segments. Following surgery and continued antimicrobial therapy, the patient showed significant symptomatic improvement with reduction in pain and improved functional status.
