Our BMJH Spine & Joint Surgery team and its unique medical practice that integrates the latest medical advances with a multidisciplinary and compassionate approach towards complete healthcare.
By combining specialists across the fields of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, psychiatry and pain management into one convenient service, we can facilitate faster appointments with different specialists. This cohesive network results in fewer treatment delays and cuts out the red tape and miscommunications that can happen when patients need to visit different specialist and GP clinics. Interstate patients benefit from our streamlined services as we are able to arrange multiple specialist appointments for the same day. In the near future, we will also offer telehealth consultations for rural and remote patients.

What are the visiting hours for patients?
Our general visiting hours are from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. However, ICU visiting hours are restricted to 15 minutes per visit, twice daily (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM). Please check with the specific department for any special restrictions.

Emergency cases are attended 24/7 without prior appointment.
Does the hospital accept health insurance?
Yes, BMJH is empaneled with over 75+ insurance providers including all major TPAs and government schemes like Ayushman Bharat, ESI, and CGHS. Our insurance desk on the ground floor assists with cashless claims and pre-authorization. Please carry your insurance card and valid ID proof during admission.
What should I bring for hospital admission?
For admission, please bring: (1) Valid photo ID proof, (2) Insurance/TPA card if applicable, (3) Previous medical records and current medications, (4) Referral letter from your doctor (if any), (5) Basic toiletries and comfortable clothing. The hospital provides gowns, bedding, and standard meals.
Is ambulance service available?
Yes, we provide 24/7 ambulance services with basic and advanced life support (BLS & ALS). For emergency ambulance, dial our emergency number 108 or +91-80-XXXX-XXXX. Our ambulances are equipped with ventilators, cardiac monitors, and trained paramedics for safe patient transport.
What is the discharge process?
Discharge process typically takes 2-4 hours after your doctor confirms fitness for discharge. Our billing department prepares the final bill, pharmacy dispenses prescribed medicines, and nursing staff provides discharge summary with follow-up instructions. Please settle bills at the ground floor billing counter.
